MNM — rUleZ

First the facts that are required.  On 19th March, 2008 the ECE Dept of MNM Jain college located somewhere on the Old Mahabalipuram Road ,attracted us students to bunk our usual boring college class and have some fun instead. I guess fun is what we got since, much to our amusement, we found that majority of the competitions were rigged.

It got more funnier, when the organisers of one event told the participants that they would get prizes but the cash prize would be taken up by them, in exchange for getting the winning certificate.

This concept of favouring  our friends in symposiums has been occuring for a long period of time . No  college is free from leaks regarding format of event, the answers to important questions or even rigging the results of preliminaries  in  order to ensure our friends get through but i guess ,even cheating when kept at a small rate can be forgiven . The experience we obtained from this college in particular, where participants not selected for finals were called , names deleted and others names added  and so on . Having been a part of the group that conducted  a symposium , i can understand it is difficult to contain yourself from being tempted onto forcing your friends , however you just need to grow up to do it. Just have to be sensible and do our job .

I hope in future the concerned college better get  its act together or else it is going down the dumps.
